The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 23.03.2026 for the alleged offence under Sections 296(b), 118(1), 109, 121(1) and 351(3) of BNS in Crime No.623 of 2026 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the petitioner has been detained under Act 14 of 1982.
