This Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 19.10.2020 within the stipulated period and consequently direct the respondent to survey the petitioner land properties situated at Virupatchipuram Village Survey No.195/2 in acre 0.26 cents with boundaries east by canal, west by allotment of funeral area, north by road, south by mountain stone properties and fixed the boundary stone.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the application submitted by the petitioner on 19.10.2020, wherein the petitioner has requested to survey the subject property and to lay the boundary stones.

2.Mr.K.Parameshwaran, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondent submitted that the representation made by the petitioner will be acted upon by the respondent and the respondent had already fixed the date for survey on 11.01.2021 at 10.30 A.M. Learned counsel further submitted that the petitioner can be present at the time of survey along with all the relevant documents.

3.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also of the fact that the respondent has already fixed the date for survey, there shall be a direction to the respondent to complete the entire process within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
