Crl.O.P.No.17771 of 2022 Dr.G.JAYACHANDRAN,J.

The petition for bail, earlier dismissed for the reason that the petitioner jumped bail and was absconding for 8 years. Due to that the trial against the other accused also got delayed and if the petitioner is released on bail, he will repeat his act of abscondance.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that as far as the other accused is concerned, the trial has come to an end and posted for cross examination of investigating officer and in the split up case against this petitioner, so far even charge not framed.

3. This Court, considering the nature of the offence i.e., possession of counterfeit currency, circulated it and the conduct of the petitioner herein is not inclined to entertain the bail petition.

4. However, the trial Court is directed to frame the charge and complete the trial within a period of four months from today.

5. In the result, the bail petition stands dismissed.
