Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to consider the petitioner's application vide Challan No.20240306017882 dated 06.03.2024 thereby directing the respondent to survey, sub divide and issue separate patta of petitioner property for the land in Villupuram R.D., Villupuram No.2, Joint Sub D., Maragathapuram Village, Natham S.No.761/6A [Old S.No.573/1]; and S.No.761/6B [Old S.No.573/1], totaling 2625 sq.ft. vacant site.

ORDER

With the consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

This Writ Petition is filed to direct the second respondent to consider the application of the petitioner vide Challan No.20240306017882 dated 06.03.2024 thereby directing the respondent to survey, sub divide and issue separate patta of petitioner property for the land in Villupuram R.D., Villupuram No.2, Joint Sub D., Maragathapuram Village, Natham S.No.761/6A [Old S.No.573/1]; and S.No.761/6B [Old S.No.573/1], totalling 2625 sq.ft. vacant site.

3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent and perused the materials available on record.

4. The case of the petitioner is that subject land has been purchased by the petitioner by a sale deed dated 17.03.2023. The grievance of the petitioner is that though she has given an application to survey, subdivide and to issue separate patta for his property by paying necessary fees, the same has 2/4

not been considered by the second respondent. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

5. Considering the limited relief sought for in the Writ Petition, second respondent is directed to consider the application of the petitioner dated 06.03.2024 and pass Order on the same, after giving notice to the neighbouring land owners and any other interested persons, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
