L.A.Bill No.47 of 2008, dated 14.05.2008 passed by the Tamilnadu Government Assembly amending the Industrial Employment (Standing Orders) Act, 1948 for the Presidential Assent within a time frame. ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for direction directing the 2nd respondent to reply to the 1st respondent's letter, dated 08.04.2013 seeking clarification from the 2nd respondent and consequently, direct the 1st respondent to send the Industrial Employment (Standing orders) Tamil Nadu (Amendment) Bill, 2008 viz. L.A.Bill No.47 of 2008, dated 14.05.2008 passed by the Tamilnadu Government Assembly amending the Industrial Employment (Standing Orders) Act, 1948 for the Presidential Assent within a time frame.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 2 and 3.

3. It is seen that the prayer sought for in this writ petition has been complied with and the same has also been published in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette dated 04.07.2016.

4. Recording the above observation, this writ petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
