ORDER

The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 191(2), 296(b), 127(2), 118(1), 103 of BNS @ 191(2), 296(b), 127(2), 118(1), 103, 115(2) and 351(3) of BNS in Crime No.12 of 2025, on the file of the Inspector of Police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2. The case of the prosecution is that there was a wordy quarrel between the defacto complainant's son who is the deceased herein and the petitioner and other accused, due to which A1 had assaulted the deceased using a knife and the petitioner and three others caught hold of the deceased, thereby the deceased died. Hence, the case. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submits that custodial interrogation of the petitioner is not required and sought for anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that the petitioner is arrayed as A2 and there is specific overtact against the petitioner and A4 has been granted anticipatory bail and if the petitioner is granted anticipatory bail it would stall the trial proceedings and he vehemently opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5.Considering the above fact and circumstances of the case and Page No.2 of 4

since three previous cases are pending against the petitioner, custodial interrogation of the petitioner is required and this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed.
