PRAYER: The writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.02.2023 requesting shifting of the agricultural electricity service connection S.C.No.25 from the old well in S.No.37/2F to the new well in S.No.37/2E, Periyavenmani Village, within the time. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.The petitioner has filed this petition, seeking a direction against the respondents /TANGEDCO to shift the electric motor from the old well to the new well, which is pending with the authority since 24.02.2023. 3.Mr.D.Sureshkumar, the learned Standing Counsel for TANGEDCO, makes a statement on instruction, stating that the petitioner has merely given a representation without the necessary accompanying documents. 2/4

4.In the light of the above, the petitioner is now required to be served with a list of documents that have to be submitted along with his representation. Once this is done, the petitioner is required to give a fresh representation with all necessary documents. On receipt of the same, the 1st respondent is directed to make a decision within a period of six (6) weeks from the date on which the petitioner presents his fresh application within the framework of the law. 5.This Writ Petition stands disposed of accordingly.
