ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider and pass final orders on the revision application dated 07.05.2026 preferred by the petitioner under Section 80 of the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1971 within the time that may be stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondent Nos.1 and 2. Notice to respondent Nos.3 and 4 is dispensed with.

3. The third respondent herein had promoted a lay out in such a manner that the petitioner's land would become land locked. The petitioner, therefore, preferred a revision under Section 80 of the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1971, before the 1st respondent. All that the petitioner seeks is the disposal of the said revision application dated 07.05.2026. No exception can be taken to the said request.

4. I direct the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's revision application, dated 07.05.2026, on merits and in accordance with law, after putting notice to the third respondent and all the interested parties. Such an order shall be passed within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed.
