Prayer:- Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider and dispose of the representation of petitioners dated 07.09.2015, with regard to issuance of patta to the petitioners for the lands in Old Survey No.31/2 Kundhan Taluk, Nilgiris Districts.

O R D E R

The relief sought for in this writ petition is for a direction to the first respondent to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioners on 07.09.2015 and pass orders. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioners made a submission that the writ petitioners are residents of Kundanpaalam Village and they are cultivating the lands for many years. The respondents are taking steps to disburse the writ petitioners. However, the respondents are bound to act in accordance with law.

3.Under these circumstances, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioners on 07.09.2015 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law,

within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. However, there is no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
