ORDER

This contempt petition has been filed seeking to punish the respondent for their willful disobedience of the order of this court dated 16.08.2018 made in W.P.No.20430 of 2018.

2. Earlier, this court, by order dated 16.09.2019, directed respondents to pay the entire award amount of Rs.5,21,82,189/- and report compliance to this court.

3. Accordingly, today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Addition Advocate General appearing for the respondents submitted that pursuant to the directions of this court, the entire award amount has been deposited before the Principal Subordinate Judge, Tiruvannamalai, on 12.12.2019 and a memo has also been filed to that effect.

4. In view of the above position, nothing survives for further adjudication in this contempt petition and the contempt petition is closed accordingly.
