Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 1st respondent to compulsorily give full marks to the petitioner and the other visually impaired candidates for the questions requiring visual inputs for the Group II Combined Civil Service Examination conducted in the year 01.12.2013 and 29.06.2014 and direct the I Respondent to follow the guidelines dated 26.02.2013 issued by the II respondent in respect of appointment of scribes, option of choosing the mode for taking the examination and giving alternative questions requiring visual inputs for persons with visual impairment, record the answers dictated by the visually impaired candidates.

ORDER

The prayer made in this writ petition is to direct the 1st respondent to give full marks to the petitioner and the other visually impaired candidates for the questions requiring visual inputs for the Group II Combined Civil Service Examination conducted on 01.12.2013 and 29.06.2014 and for consequential direction.

2. When the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submitted that the relief sought for herein has become infructuous and hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this matter. 3.In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
