ORDER

The prayer made in this writ petition is to direct the respondents to follow the rules of procedure prescribed in G.O.Ms.No.477 Education Department dated 04.05.1989 and award weightage marks for the period of wait in the Employment Exchange, after the registration of qualification and add the same to the weightage marks as awarded under the G.O.Ms.No.71 School Education (TRB) Department dated 30.05.2014 and select and appoint the petitioner as B.T. Assistant (English) i.e., Graduate Assistant in the vacancies available under the control of the respondents in Government High and Higher Secondary Schools and other local bodies schools with all benefits. 2.Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that subsequent to the filing of this writ petition, G.O.(Ms).No.

149 School (TRB) Department, dated 20.07.2018 came to be issued and hence, the petitioner may be granted liberty to approach the respondent authorities afresh, as per the said Government Order seeking to award weightage marks for the period of wait, for which, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has no serious objection.

3.In view of the limited relief now sought by the learned counsel for the petitioner, which has not been opposed on the side of the respondents, this Court permits the petitioner to submit a fresh representation enclosing all the required documents, along with a copy of this order to the respondents, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On such submission, the respondents shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks thereafter. 4.Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of.
