The three sisters of S.Rajagopalan, who died as a bachelor and intestate on 23.05.2019 have filed the present Petition seeking Succession Certificate relating to the accounts in State Bank of India, Luz Church Road, in the name of the deceased S.Rajagopalan.

2. It is stated that they are the only surviving class-II legal heirs. Paper publication was directed and it was effected. The third petitioner S.Lakshmi was examined as PW-1. She marked the death certificate of her parents as Exs. P-1 and P-2 and the death certificate of S.Rajagoplan as Ex.P-4. The petitioner also had an elder brother and elder sister and the death certificate of the brother S.Seshadri was marked as Ex.P-6 and the death certificate of S.Pitchammal was marked as Ex.P-5. Exs. P-7 and P-8 are the copies of fixed deposit receipts issued by the State Bank of India, Mylapore. As a matter of fact, the elder brother, S.Seshadri had died and with respect to his holdings, O.P.No. 424 of 2019 had been filed. Pending that petition, the deceased herein S.Rajagobalan had died.

In view of the fact that necessary evidence had been produced, this Petition stands allowed as prayed for and a direction for grant of Succession Certificate to the petitioners with power to collect the debts along with accrued interest specified in the schedule is issued. The petitioners are directed to render accounts once in a year.
