Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of writ of certiorari mandamus, calling for the records pertaining to the order of the 1st respondent dated 17.10.2020 in letter No.P-II/SIC-Hosur/Sun Polymers/2017 directing the petitioner industry to surrender the allotted plot or pay a penalty amount of Rs.25,53,668/- and processing fee Rs.11,800/- for extension of 12 months time to implement the project in the allotted plot No.E-25A measuring 5.97 acres to the petitioner Industry at Small Industries Promotion Corporation of Tami Nadu Limited Industries Complex, Hosur Phase-II, Expansion-II and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to give extension of 12 months time to complete the project waiving the penalty amount of Rs.25,53,668/- and processing fee of Rs.11,800/- considering the pandemic Covid-19 situation.

O R D E R This writ petition is filed as against the order dated 17.10.2020 directing the petitioner Industry to surrender the alloted plot or to pay a penalty of Rs.25,53,668/- together with a processing fee of Rs.11,800/- for extension of 12 months time to implement the project in the alloted plot No.F25-A.
2. When this matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.Vijay Narayanan, learned Advocate General assisted by Mr.E.Manoharan, learned Special Government Pleader has produced a letter dated 05.12.2020 in and by which, the respondents have granted extension of time for 12 months to the petitioner to implement the project from the date of the letter with a waiver of the amount of Rs.25,53,668/- and the process fee of Rs.11,800/- by considering the allotment, which is of the year 2017.
3. Recording the said letter produced by the learned Special Government Pleader, this writ petition is closed as no further orders are required. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
