Heard Mr.Prabhu Mukunth Arun Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Ms.P.Selvi, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

2. The writ petitioner's registration was cancelled by the second respondent on 07.08.2025. The petitioner sought revocation of the said cancellation. His request was rejected vide order dated 16.10.2025. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner filed an appeal before the first respondent on 13.01.2026. Since the said appeal is yet to be disposed of, the petitioner's business has become standstill. That led to the filing of this writ petition.

3. Without going into the merits of the matter, I direct the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. This Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
