ORDER
The prayer made in this writ petition is to direct the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner for promotion as Chief Stores Officer on par with his batch mates/juniors without reference to service qualification and consequently extend all benefits forthwith.
2.Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that during the pendency of this writ petition, the petitioner retired from https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
service on reaching the age of superannuation and hence, nothing survives for adjudication.
3.In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
