... Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant 21 days ordinary leave to the petitioner's husband Ganesan S/o Govindhan aged about 52 years, Ct No. 8569, Convict Prisoner, Central Prison, Puzhal.
For Petitioner : M/s.S.Nadhiya For Respondents : Mr.A.Gokulakrishnan, Additional Public Prosecutor
ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by M.S.RAMESH, J.) The petitioner seeks for grant of 21 days of ordinary leave for her husband viz., Ganesan S/o. Govindhan, Ct.No.8569 on medical grounds. Earlier, on the same ground when she had made an application seeking for emergency leave, her application was not considered by the prison authorities within a reasonable time, which prompted us to pass the order dated 30.04.2024 in W.P.No.11755 of 2024 granting 15 days of ordinary leave without escort to the petitioner's husband for the period between 06.05.2024 to 20.05.2024.
2.Since the petitioner's husband was very recently granted ordinary leave and not even two months have lapsed since then, the present Writ
Petition seeking for leave does not deserve consideration and accordingly, the same stands dismissed. No costs.
