ORDER

Seeking for the interim custody of the vehicle involved in Crime No.54 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, the petitioner has moved a petition in Crl.M.P.No.1571 of 2020 before the Principal Sessions Judge, Krishnagiri.

2.The Principal Sessions Judge, while ordering the said petition, inter-alia, has directed the petitioner to deposit a sum of Rs.30,000/- to the credit of the Chief Educational Officer, Krishnagiri, on or before 11.08.2020 as non-refundable deposit and produce the receipt before the District Munsif-cum Judicial Magistrtate - I, Hosur and on such deposit, the Chief Educational Officer, Krishnagiri, shall utilise the deposited amount only for renovation of Government Schools. 3.According to the petitioner, he was unable to comply with the abovesaid direction in particular and has come forward with the criminal original petition seeking for extension of time. It is his case that with reference to the abovesaid relief, the petition filed before the Principal Sessions Court has been returned.

According to the petitioner, due to Covid situation, he is unable to comply with the abovesaid direction issued by the Principal Sessions Judge, Krishnagiri. 4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice, the petitioner is granted time till Thursday (26.11.2020) to comply with the abovesaid direction issued by the Principal Sessions, Judge. Accordingly, the criminal original petition is disposed of.
