This Criminal original Petition has been filed to direct the Judicial Magistrate-I, Nagapattinam to expedite the trial in C.C.No.152 of 2018 within a stipulated period as directed by the Court.

2.Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent. 3.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Nagapattinam, to complete the proceedings in C.C.No.152 of 2018 in accordance with law, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
