ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by G.R.SWAMINATHAN, J.) On being satisfied that the Bar Council of India has no jurisdiction to interfere in the matter, we granted interim stay of the order dated 26.04.2026 passed by the Bar Council of India. This was on 20.05.2026.

2. The petitioner has also filed W.M.P.No.21532 of 2026 seeking a direction to respondent Nos.4 to 9 to complete the election process and declare the results for the Bar Association - Kanchipuram for the year 2026-2027. We are satisfied with the reasons and the facts set out in the affidavit filed in support of the said petition. Accordingly, W.M.P.No.21532 of 2026 is allowed as prayed for.
