O R D E R
The petitioner is working as Village Administrative Officer in Erode District. The petitioner has filed the present writ petition to direct the 3rd respondent to prepare the seniority list in the Divisional level for the counselling for general transfer of the Village Administrative Officers in Erode District, as per the orders of this Court in W.P.No.29892 of 2019 and in line with G.O.Ms.No.515, dated 25.08.2008, and thereafter, proceed with the counselling for transfer of Village Administrative Officers in Erode District.
2.However, Mr.P.Baladhandayutham, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3, on instructions,
submitted that, transfer counselling has been conducted and the petitioner has also participated in the counselling and as per his request, he has been transferred to Nallagoundampalayam Village and the petitioner has joined duty in the new place on 03.07.2023 and is now working in Nallagoundampalayam Village.
3.When the petitioner himself has participated in the general transfer counselling and has been transferred to a new place as per his request, nothing survives for further consideration in this writ petition. Hence, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
