This Court vide order dated 25.08.2023 has directed the Principal Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai to dispose of the appeal in C.M.A.No.83 of 2012 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of that order and allowed the above said Civil Revision Petition.

2. This being so, after a lapse of four and two months, the Principal Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai has written a letter to the Registrar General, High Court vide Dis.No.12412/2023, dated 07.11.2023, seeking extension of time in order to comply the order passed by this Court dated 25.08.2023, which is not appreciated by this Court, however, considering the reasons stated in the letter, this Court is inclined to grant three months time from the date of receipt of the order copy to dispose of the appeal in C.M.A.No.83 of 2012 as directed by this Court order dated 25.08.2023.

3. Registry is directed to issue a copy of the order to the Principal Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai.
