ORDER

Heard Mr.T.Ramachandran, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.V.Selvakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent. With the consent of the learned counsel on either side, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal. 2.The petitioner seeks for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the respondent to consider his representation dated 24.04.2015 and consequential direction directing the respondent to inspect the property to assess and levy the Property Tax pertaining to Flat No.4, I Floor Door No.7/3, Jal Street, Alandur,Chennai.

3.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the respondent submitted that the respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation on merits and in accordance with law.

4.In the light of the above, without going into the merits of the matter, there will be a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.04.2015 on merits and in accordance with law and pass a speaking order and communicate the decision to the petitioner within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
