ORDER
The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for issuing a Mandamus, to direct the first respondent herein to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 24.12.2024, regarding inclusion of his name in the panel of Sub-Inspectors of Police (Armed Reserve) for the year 2022 issued by the second respondent herein in his proceedings Rc.No.NGBI91)/E/005/2022, NGB Order No.17/2022 dated 26.05.2022 in the light of the orders passed by the Division Bench of this Hon'ble Court in W.P.No.25043/2022 dated 18.09.2007 which was implemented by Government vide G.O.Ms (No).1623 (Home Pol VI) 2/6
Department dated 12.12.2008 and in the light of G.O.Ms.No.304 Home (Police VI) Department dated 17.06.2019.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner joined the Police Department as Grade II Police Constable on 23.12.1985 and after completing the unblemished service of 38 years, he retired from service on 31.07.2023. However, he would submit that in contravention to the Division Bench Judgment of this Court, the respondents are maintaining two seniority list, which affected the promotional prospects of the petitioner. As a consequence, he was deprived of monetary benefits. In this connection, he has sent a representation to the first respondent on 24.12.2024 and such representation is yet to be considered by the first respondent. Hence, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.
3. At this juncture, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would strongly object the contention raised by the learned counsel for the petitioner. However, the fact remains that the 3/6
representation of the petitioner is still pending with the respondents.
4. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record.

In view of the above, without going into the merits of the writ petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.12.2024 and pass order, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order on its own merits and in accordance with law.
6. In the result, the Writ Petition is disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
