(e-office) No.2724319/ 2026 on the file of 1st Respondent and Consequently direct the 1st Respondent to dispose the above appeals in A.P. NO.1 of 2026 and A.P. ORDER

The case on hand pertains to the affairs of Athi Korakkanathaswamy Temple, Thiruppuvanam Taluk, Thiruchendur District. A scheme was framed originally in the year 1997 and it was modified vide order dated 12.01.2026 by the 2nd respondent herein. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioners have filed appeal before the 1st respondent. The petitioners have also taken out a stay petition. The petitioners' grievance is that before the Appellate Authority take a call to the stay petition, the modified order is sought to be enforced.

2. Hence, this Court direct the 1st respondent to dispose of the stay petition within a period of sixteen weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after notice to all the parties concerned. Till the stay petition is

disposed of, the modified order passed by the 2nd respondent shall not be enforced. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. None of the defences of the private respondents stand foreclosed.

3. This Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, W.M.P.No.21861 of 2026 is ordered. Other connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
