Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus call for the records from the first respondent pertaining to the impugned order in Ref No.A1 / 1718 / 2014 (L.Ref.) dt. 04.08.2014 and consequently to direct the second respondent to give promotion to the petitioner from the post of Junior Assistant to the Assistant based on the panel preferred by the second respondent for the year 2014.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition challenging the order of the first respondent dated 04.08.2014 and to consequently direct the second respondent to promote the petitioner as Assistant based on the panel preferred by the second respondent for the year 2014. 2.When the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the relief sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous and hence nothing survives for adjudication.

3.In view of the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
