This application has been filed to accept the cause title filed in the present contempt petition.

2. The main contempt petition has been filed for non compliance of the order dated 23.03.2021 passed by this Court in W.P.No.16946 of 2020, thereby setting a side the proceedings initiated by the District Collector, Perambalur and also holding that the petitioner is entitled to sign the cheques along with Vice President.

3. It is seen that after the order passed by this Court dated 20.03.2021, the petitioner was allowed to sign the cheque in the panchayat. Thereafter on 14.06.2024, once again the ward members of the panchayat conducted meeting and passed resolution, thereby taken away the cheque signing power from the petitioner. Therefore, it is completely different cause of action and therefore, no contempt is made

out as against the contemnors.

4. Accordingly, this contempt petition is not maintainable and the present Sub Application is closed.
