PRAYER:
Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 10.10.2013.

ORDER
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.
2. The petitioner has filed this petition for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent to consider his application dated 10.10.2013 and pass orders in a time frame.
3. The case of the petitioner is that he purchased a property in Survey No.295/B (part) of Velle Goundenpalayam Village, Dharmapuri District by a registered sale deed, dated 18.03.2013. Since then, he has been in possession and enjoyment of the same.
4. The grievance of the petitioner is that the application given by him on 10.10.2013 to the 2nd respondent for mutation of Revenue Record and issuance of patta in his name, was not considered.

5. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice, if a direction is issued to the 2nd respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 10.10.2013.
6. The learned Government Advocate on instructions submitted that the 2nd respondent is ready to pass appropriate orders on the application of the petitioner.

In the light of the submissions of the learned counsel on either side, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the 2nd respondent to pass orders on the application of the petitioner dated 10.10.2013, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of the twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after providing an opportunity of hearing to the necessary parties.
8. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
