O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) The petitioner is the mother of P.Sarathkumar, S/o.Parameshwaran, who is the detenu. The detenu has been detained by the second respondent by his order in D.O.No.115/2020-C2 dated 24.10.2020, holding him to be a "Goonda", as contemplated under Section 2(f) of Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982. The said order is under challenge in this Habeas Corpus Petition.

2.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) reports that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.197 Home, Prohibition and Excise (XI) Department, dated 11.01.2021 and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
