ORDER
(This case has been heard through video conference) This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent not to harass the petitioner in connection with the complaint, which is already pending on the file of 3rd respondent police.
2. The learned counsel appearing for petitioner would submit that the petitioner and 4th respondent are husband and wife and now, their relationship got strained. Initially, complaint registered before All Women Police Station, Avadi and the petitioner was called for enquiry, despite knowing that it is only matrimonial dispute.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for respondents 1 to 3 would submit that as per the guidelines of Apex Court, if the complaint filed with regard to matrimonial dispute, the enquiry is to be conducted. In this case, though the complaint lodged before All Women Police Station, Avadi, now the same transferred to All Women Police Station, Ranipet on 21.09.2021.
4. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 3.
5. In view of the same, as per the guidelines of Apex Court, this Court directs the petitioner to appear before All Women Police Station, Ranipet on 07.10.2021 and thereafter, if required, to appear for future hearings. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
