PRAYER: This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. to direct the 1st respondent herein to file final report in the above case in Crime No.112/2021 pending on the file of the 3rd respondent.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the third respondent police to complete the investigation pending in the Crime No.112 of 2021 dated 03.08.2021.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing on behalf of the respondents.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that though the third respondent has registered a case in the above said crime number on 03.08.2021, no final report is filed till date.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that the third respondent police may be permitted to file a final report within a period of two months.

5. In view of the above, the third respondent police is directed to either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the defacto complainant.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
