By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is disposed of at the stage of admission itself.

This Writ Petition is filed to direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.11.2023 and consequently direct the respondents 2 and 3 to pay compensation as provided under the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 in respect of the petitioner's land viz. Resurvey No.31/3B, measuring an extent of 0.57 ares (1.41 acres), situated at Melvaliamadevi Village, Bhuvanagiri Taluk, Cuddalore District. 3.

It is stated by the learned counsel for the petitioner that now the matter has been referred to the Land Acquisition Tribunal in L.A.O.P.No.38 of 2024 and the hearing date has already been fixed. Hence, the petitioner will work out his remedy before the concerned Court. 2/4

In such view of the matter, this Writ Petition has become infructuous. Let the petitioner work out his remedy before the concerned Court and the learned Principal District Judge, Cuddalore shall dispose of the L.A.O.P.No.38 of 2024 on merits, as expeditiously as possible.
