PRAYER: This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to direct the 2nd respondent police to register First Information Report in the complaint given by the petitioner dated 16.02.2021, on the file of the 2nd respondent, as per the order of the Judicial Magistrate No.1, Virudhachalam dated 07.04.2021 in Crl.M.P.No.647/2021.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent police to register First Information Report in the complaint given by the petitioner dated 16.02.2021, on the file of the 2nd respondent, as per the order of the Judicial Magistrate No.1, Virudhachalam dated 07.04.2021 in Crl.M.P.No.647/2021.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) on instructions, submitted that on the complaint given by the petitioner, a case in Crime No.1033 of 2021 has been registered for the offences under Sections 294(b), 323 and 506(i), of IPC and Section 4 of Women Harassment Act and the same is under investigation.
