O R D E R

The present civil revision petition is filed by the petitioner / respondent seeking speedy disposal of H.M.O.P.No.96 of 2017 filed by him before the Sub Court, Poonamallee.

2. Both the petitioner / husband and the respondent / wife

filed divorce petitions before the same Court on the same ground, vide. H.M.O.P.No.96 of 2017 and H.M.O.P.No.154 of 2017. In the cross examination, respondent / wife has admitted that she also wants divorce.

3.This Court, by order dated 21.03.2018 in C.R.P.(P.D)Nos.1124 & 1125 of 2018 directed the Trial Court to complete the proceedings as expeditiously as possible.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case that both husband and wife seeks divorce on the same ground, the Trial Court shall dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible by conducting either joint or simultaneous trial and pass orders based on the admission made by the parties.

4. Accordingly, a direction is issued to the Sub Court, Poonamallee to dispose of O.P.Nos.96 & 154 of 2017, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order by conducting simultaneous or joint trial.

5.The Civil Revision Petition is disposed of with the above observations and directions. No costs.
