Mr.M.Maharaja, learned Special Government Pleader (HR & CE) takes notice for R1. Mr.M.Varun Kumar, learned standing counsel takes notice for R2 & R3. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the third respondent to consider and pass orders on his representation dated 02.08.2017, wherein and whereby he sought for change of name of the Hereditary Trustee in the records of the Electricity Board, since the erstwhile Trustee by name P.Sithananthan is no more and in his place, the petitioner is stated to have stepped into the administration, as the Hereditary Trustee of the subject matter Temple. Therefore, the petitioner sought for change of the name in the Electricity Board records at the office of the third respondent.

3. The learned counsel for the first respondent is not disputing the claim made by the petitioner and he submitted that the third respondent may consider the request of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders.

4. Considering the above stated facts and circumstances and considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned counsel for the first respondent, this writ petition is disposed of, by directing the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 02.08.2017 and pass orders on the same, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
