This Court, by order dated 05.06.2024, while granting suspension of sentence, had directed the petitioner to deposit 30% of the cheque amount of Rs.6,50,000/-, i.e., a sum of Rs.1,95,000/- to the credit of C.C. No.

30 of 2021 on the file of learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Walajapet, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the said order.

Since the said order has not been complied with by the petitioner, the above criminal miscellaneous petition has been filed seeking extension of time.

When the matter is taken up, learned counsel for the petitioner sought a week's time to comply with the order dated 05.06.2024.

Considering the request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner shall either deposit the aforesaid amount or directly pay the same to the respondent and produce proof thereof by 30.08.2024.

The criminal miscellaneous petition is ordered accordingly.

Post on 30.08.2024 for reporting compliance.
