The writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 23.01.2016 by granting Police protection to remove the Lock of the Sangili Madasamy temple situated at Vadakku https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Konarkottai, Kovilpatti Taluk, Tuticorine District to secure the ends of justice.

2. It is seen that the representation is of the year 2016. Now, almost three years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh petition, on fresh cause of action, if so advised.

3. With the above observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
