The petitioner apprehends arrest for the alleged offence under Sections 126(2), 296(b), 308(2) and 351(3) of BNS Act, in Crime No.327 of 2026 on the file of the respondent police seeks anticipatory bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with the other accused waylaid the de facto complainant, demanded money and robbed a sum of Rs.500/- at knife point. Hence, the case.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that he is an innocent person and has been falsely implicated in this case. He would submit that the petitioner is ready to abide by any stringent conditions that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police opposed the anticipatory bail on the ground that there are 8 previous cases pending against the petitioner. 2/4
6. Taking into consideration of the totality of the circumstances, bad antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail.
