MURALIDARAN CRIMINAL MISCELLANEOUS PETITION No.4452 of 2018 IN CRL RC.143/2018 JAYANTHI LAKSHMI NARAYANAN [ PETITIONER/APPELLANT/ACCUSED] Vs P.LAKSHMANA PERUMAL [ RESPONDENT ] Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein the High Court will be pleased to exempt the petitioner from appearing on 01.04.2018 before the Learned Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai, pending Crl.R.C.No.143/2018 order dt.31.01.2018. Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.C.S.DHANASEKARAN, Advocate for the petitioner the court made the following order:- This Court, by order dated 31.01.

2018, granting interim suspension on condition that the petitioner shall deposit 50% of the cheque amount to the credit of C.C.No.16607 of 2005 on the file of the learned Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai and also the petitioner shall appear before the said court on the first working day of every month at 10.30 a.m.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has appeared before the trial Court on 01.03.2018 as per the direction of this Court. He would further submit that the petitioner is working as Post Graduate Teacher in Hindi at Bhakathavatsalam Vidyasharam School, Korattur, Chennai and she has been appointed as Examiner for evaluation of Answer Books in the subject of Hindi Course-B for AISSE 2018 from 26.03.2018 at 9.00 p.m. under the letter issued by the Regional Officer, Central Board of Secondary Education, Chennai and he has also produced the same. Hence, the petitioner has filed this petition to exempt the petitioner from appearing on 01.04.2018 before the trial Court.

3. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the order dated 31.01.2018 is modified that the petitioner is directed to appear before the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai on the first working day of every month at 10.30 a.m. from 02.05.2018 onwards.
