O R D E R

The Petition in W.P.No.14525 of 2014 pending on the file of the High Court of Madras has been referred to Lok Adalat for conciliation today.

2. The petitioner has filed this writ petition against the Respondent 1 and Respondent 2 to issue an order of writ, order or direction more particularly a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to pay backwages from the date of dismissal to the date of retirement and pension and other terminal benefits to the petitioner.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner made an endorsement on the petition to the effect that the writ petition is settled and therefore, requested to dismiss the case as not pressed. The said endorsement is recorded by the Lok Adalat.

5. In view of the endorsement, the writ petition is dismissed as not pressed. No order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed, if any.
