The petitioner has filed the Writ Petition praying to issue a WRIT OF MANDAMUS, directing the respondents to pay to the petitioner the sum of Rs.1,55,26,558/- for works due pursuant to work orders issued by the second and third respondents for the year 2015-16 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 2.According to the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent corporation has filed a status report before this Court. In the aforesaid report, the respondent Corporation has specifically stated that pursuant to the interim order passed by this Court on 04.02.2019, totally 19 bills have been settled and the same were paid to the petitioner through online RTGS (Real Time Gross Settlement).
3.In view of the relief granted granted by the respondent Corporation, no further adjudication is required in this matter. Hence, the Writ Petition stands disposed of as infructuous. It is left open to the parties to raise the maintainability of the writ petition in the appropriate case. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
