ORDER

By an order dated 29.04.2026, this Court granted interim injunction restraining the respondents from bringing the suit schedule mentioned property

for auction on 05.05.2026 on the conditions (a) that the applicant will deposit a sum of Rs.25,00,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Lakhs only) on or before 04.05.2026 and (b) a further sum of Rs.25,00,000/- to be deposited on or before 18.05.2026.

2. Mr.K.Venkateswaran, states that the first sum of Rs.25,00,000/- was deposited on 04.05.2026 and that the applicant requires three more weeks time to deposit the amount in terms of clause (b) of the order dated 29.04.2026.

3. Effectively, the applicant has managed to get a week extra from the date of the order. Time bound order was passed by this Court in order to find out if the applicant is showing his bonafides. After having obtained an order of injunction, the applicant cannot file repeatedly applications seeking extension of time.

4. In the light of the averments made in paragraph No.8 of the affidavit, I am inclined to give one further opportunity to the applicant as he pleads financial inability. Hence, this application is allowed. The applicant is granted time till 29.05.2026 to make the payment as directed in clause (b) of the order dated 29.04.2026. The applicant need not wait for the certified copy of the order.
