ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for direction directing the respondent to award 14 marks towards teaching experience of the petitioner in Annamalai University, Chidambaram and consequently, appoint the petitioner as Assistant Professor in Tamil Nadu Collegiate Educational Service for Government Arts and Science Colleges 2012 pursuant to the notification/advertisement issued by the respondent which was published in the daily newspaper Dhinathanthi in the edition, dated 28.05.2013.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondent and perused the materials available on record.

3. It is seen that the petitioner is barred by age. Therefore, the prayer sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous.

4. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
