2.Upon notice, the second and third respondents filed a detailed counter affidavit, inter alia stating that on 06.05.2011 the petitioner's mother submitted an application requesting to provide a job on compassionate ground; at that time, the petitioner was minor and hence, he cannot be provided job under compassionate grounds as per G.O.No.112 of Personnel & Administrative reforms Department dated 23.08.2005. It is further stated therein that after attaining majority, the petitioner submitted another application on 07.05.2013, however, he cannot be provided job as per G.O.No.120 of Labour & Employment Department dated 26.06.1995. Thus, the order impugned herein is correct and the same warrants no interference at the hands of this Court.

3.However, today, when this matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submitted that the relief sought for herein has become infructuous and hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition.

4.In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs.
