This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to take necessary action to make correction in the revenue records of the petitioner's house site bearing Survey No. 64/1A2B1, measuring about 924 sq.ft., situated at Thittagudi South Street, Thittagudi Taluk, Cuddalore District, by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 19.08.2021 on the file of the first respondent herein.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner's property being a Natham House site bearing Survey No. 64/1A2B1

to an extent of 924 sq.ft., situated at Thittagudi South Street, Thittagudi Taluk, Cuddalore District and the said property was purchased by way of sale deed dated 23.01.2014, but unfortunately in the revenue records it was wrongly mentioned as 0082 sq.ft. in Chitta Adangal, FMB. Therefore, the petitioner has given a representation to the first respondent to make necessary correction on 19.08.2021 but the same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the above prayer.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner will be satisfied if a direction is issued to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.08.2021 and dispose of the same within a stipulated time that may be framed by this Court.

4. Heard Mr.M.Velmurugan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.Yogesh Kannadasan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

Having regard to the limited scope of the prayer that is now sought for in this Writ Petition before this Court and taking into account the submissions made on either side, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation or the case pleaded by the petitioner in the present Writ Petition, the Writ Petition is disposed of, with a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.08.2021 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioner and respondents within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
