This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner/A9, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 06.04.2024, seeking bail in Crime No.161 of 2024 for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 341, 294(b), 307, 302 and 120B of IPC r/w Section 25(1)(b) of Indian Arms Act r/w Section 3(1)(r), 3(1)(s), 3(2)(va) of the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Act, 2015.

2. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that the learned District and Sessions Judge, Nagapattinam, had dismissed the bail petition filed by the petitioner in Crl.M.P.No.1374 of 2024 vide order dated 12.06.2024. Further, the case is registered under Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Act, 2015, therefore, the present petition is not maintainable before this Court.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), the Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
