ORDER

The petitioner, on whose complaint a case in Crime No.348 of 2026 has been registered by the respondent Police on 25.04.2026, for the offences under Sections 296(b), 115(2), 118(1) and 351(3) BNS, has filed this Criminal Original Petition to direct the respondent Police to file a final report within a stipulated time frame.

2.Learned Government Counsel (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent Police submitted that, in this case, investigation is almost in its final stage and a final report will be filed very soon after collecting materials and seeks two months' time.

3.Recording the submissions made by the learned Government Counsel (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent Police, this Court directs the respondent Police to file the final report in Crime No.348 of 2026 within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.With this direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. 03-06-2026 MKN
