Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the 3rd respondent dated 18.06.2018 made in No.699/ED/AEE-RS/F-29 / 2018 - 19 and quash the same and directing the respondents 1to 4 to disconnect the electricity supply illegally effected on 07.05.2018 to the 5th respondent in respect of the premises bearing D.No.3, Mariamman Koil Street, Kakaiyanthope, Ariyankuppam, Puducherry on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 11.05.2018 on a date fixed by this Court. Prayer amended as per order dated 01.08.2018 by TRJ in W.M.P.No.22671 of 2018 in W.P.No.18328 of 2018.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus seeking interference with the existing electricity connection of the 5th respondent. Thereafter, the writ petition has been converted into a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to quash the order of the 3rd respondent dated 18.06.2018.

2.There has been a civil litigation between the petitioner and the 5th respondent. It has finally entered the High court in S.A.No.137 of 2010 and has been meandering around for the past one decade and more. In the said litigation, the 3rd appellant therein is the 5th respondent herein and the 1st respondent therein is the petitioner herein. 3.Let the 1st to 4th respondents take note of that particular fact and depending on the nature of the judgment passed in S.A.No.137 of 2010, take a considered decision with respect to either continuation or disconnection of the electricity for the 5th respondent. Hence, no further orders are required in this writ petition.
