ORDER

The petitioner claims to be the owner of half share in each of the 'D' and 'E' schedule properties, as per the judgment and decree dated 31.7.2012 passed in O.S.No.372 of 2004 by the learned Additional District Judge, Kancheepuram District at Chengalpattu. Hence, he made an application seeking electricity service connection before the second respondent in respect of the property comprised in Old Survey No.382/1A1C, on the basis of the patta issued by the Special Tahsildar, Urban Land Tax Scheme, Tambaram dated 6.10.2017. As the said application has not been considered, he has been advised to come to this Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. Mr.S.K.Rameshuwar, learned standing counsel takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 & 2.

This Court, taking note of the judgment and decree dated 31.7.2012 passed in O.S.No.372 of 2004 and the patta issued on 6.10.2017 in respect of the property comprised in Survey No.382/1A1C, finds no hesitation to direct the second respondent to accept the application of the petitioner. Therefore, the second respondent is hereby directed to accept the application of the petitioner and grant the electricity service connection to the property in question on payment of the necessary charges, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
