The Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondent for willful disobedience of the order of this Court in Crl.O.P.No.148 of 2024 dated 05.01.2024.

krk Government Advocate filed an affidavit of the respondent, wherein at paragraph No.9 it has been stated as follows: "9.It is submitted that based on the above order, after completion of detailed investigation, on 25.07.2024, I have filed the charge sheet against the accused persons A1 to A3 before the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Madurantakam and the same was yet to be taken on file. Vide E-filing Number LTN20230000846C202400113."

3.A copy of the final report that was filed before the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Madurantakam was also furnished before this Court. 4.In view of the above, this Contempt Petition is disposed of with a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Madurantakam, to act upon the final report filed by the respondent Police in accordance with law within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
